Michael Sojka

Managing Partner

Michael is a fellow of CPA Australia, first admitted in 1978 and became a partner of Rose Partners in 1982. He has provided Accounting, Taxation and Business Management Services to a wide range of businesses from industry to retail. From a broad and detailed knowledge base of accounting and business development, Michael has nurtured a particular interest in the Health care sector. Rose Health, a division of Rose partners is comprised of a dedicated team of experts consulting to pharmacists, doctors, dentists, and other allied health care specialists.

Michael has a wealth of current knowledge of the accounting industry but he also has a treasure chest of experience that he is passionate about sharing with his clients.

As the Managing Partner Michael is responsible for the delivery of "best practice" to clients. Michael believes that a good team is the engine of any business. Members of the Rose Partners' team are chosen on both their actual skill set and their potential to grow and be a part of a vibrant, passionate organisation. To this end Rose Partners has a strong philosophy with regard to mentoring and nurturing both our team members and our clients. We strive to assist our clients to achieve their dreams and control their destiny in ways that are manageable.

With impeccable knowledge of the traditional aspects of accounting and business management Michael also has expertise in actively listening to his clients. His ability to listen carefully is then matched with the exceptional skill of being able to "think outside the square". Drawing on an extended network of experts, impeccable relationships with the banks and his own experience means that Michael is able to provide a carefully considered range of solutions or options to his clients.

Glen Orfanidis


Glen first joined Rose Partners in 2002 and became a Partner in 2006. Glen believes that the success of Rose Partners is founded on its enduring client relationships. Glen insists that for clients to succeed financially, they need a trusted advisor who can provide a full suite of Business Advisory Services.

Glen acts as an external advisor and sits on many of his clients’ boards which include several non for profit organisations. Glen specialises in most areas of tax compliance, corporate advisory, mergers and acquisitions, corporate restructuring, litigation support and estate planning.

Having an interest and expertise in both the property and construction industries, Glen has been instrumental in forming several direct property syndicates for his high net wealth clients.

When not servicing his clients Glen can be found enjoying a round of golf or spending time with his wife and three children.

Benjamin Simon


Ben believes having a very good understanding of what a client needs to maximise their outcomes is the most important component to being able to assist them beyond just transactional needs. Ben works hard to develop relationships that generate this understanding. As a testimony to this way of working Ben has been asked to sit on several clients’ advisory boards.

Ben's experience and knowledge allows him to advise clients in regard to Business Advisory, Mergers & Acquisitions, Business Valuations, Tax and structuring, and Large business transactions. Ben's experience crosses most industries but especially Health care and Retail Pharmacy, though he also works with Professional services; Construction; Manufacturing; and many high net wealth individuals.

Cynthia Chiu


Cynthia started at Rose Partners in September 2009 and has worked hard to maximise client satisfaction with Rose Partners. Prior to joining Rose Partners Cynthia worked in one of the major Australian banks where the she learned a broad range of accounting and financial skills. Her clients are involved in various industries including medical, manufacturing, services, hairdressing, property development, security, retail, engineering, building, mining, politics, and start-ups.

Besides English Cynthia is also fluent in Malay, Hakka, and Mandarin. Cynthia has a Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting and Finance) with Distinction, a Masters in Applied Finance, is a CPA; is certified in Xero and Quickbooks Online and when not working loves traveling, swimming, and walking her Miniature Schnauzer, Frodo.

Kusal Pathiraja

Associate Director

Kusal joined Rose Partners in 2011 as a Graduate Accountant and he hasn’t looked back since. He is very passionate about emerging technologies and thoroughly enjoys helping clients leverage any new tools on the market to achieve their business and personal goals. Kusal strongly believes that Accounting goes well beyond the numbers and relishes being intimately involved in a client’s business to drive growth solve problems.

Kusal handles quite a diverse client base with specialised expertise in Building and Construction, Medical Services and Manufacturing. He also has a keen interest in the Blockchain and Cryptocurrency space as well as new start-ups.

Kusal attended Monash University and obtained a Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting & Finance) before completing further studies to become a Chartered Accountant. He has also completed his RG146 specifically allowing him to provide advice on Self-Managed Superannuation Fund related matters.

Outside of Rose Partners Kusal is all about his sport. He follows AFL and NBA closely while playing cricket and basketball in his spare time.

Archie Xenitopoulos

Associate Director

Archie joined Rose Partners in 2011 and has a strong focus on client satisfaction. Archie has expertise in Tax Compliance, Superannuation, Structuring and Business Advisory. He works hard to achieve the greatest outcome for his clients while building long-lasting relationships.

Archie has experience across various industries including manufacturing, services, retail, building and construction, medical, pharmacy, engineering, cleaning and high net wealth individuals.

Archie has a Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting and Management) with Distinction and is a CPA. Archie also has a reliable business network to assist him in providing successful solutions for his clients.

Outside of work, Archie enjoys going to the gym, attending AFL matches, travelling and spending time with family and friends.
